Welcome pet parents! My name is Delaney Gilliam, I have been working in the pet industry for 8 years and have 6 years of grooming experience. Over my past 8 years I have worked with various professional grooming companies, but have finally decided I can be successful with my own grooming shop straight from my home! External anal glands
Some pups learn to release their glands by scooting or licking, but lots of times they need some assistance from a vet or groomer. If glands don't get emptied it can cause ongoing issues such as an abscess or in extreme cases gland cancer.
